for a change im having trouble with my car and not my truck. its an 02 lesabre with the 3800 series II. its leaking fuel where the fitting connects the plastic tube to the metal pipe fitting on the back fuel rail. the plastic tube comes from near the brake booster. how do i get this fitting off and what do i have to do to fix this problem? thanks in advance

If its the type of fitting I think it is, you have to have a plastic or metal special tool

Go check the local parts store, or ask them for it

They sell them in sets and cost around $15 for a cheap set

Did you know it was leaking and still drove it anyways?

nope its my buddys truck. it was such a slight leak that it never leaked down the tank onto the ground. he cut the exhaust down when c-notching it and it backfired and caught a spark, just enough to light it
