well guys i got pulled over again today, by a caddo sherrif, i had to hear more of the license plate and no bumber crap again. so iam gonna try to bolt up the old bumper or just try the crappy bolt on roll pan, but shane i need some weldin done, i need the roll pan welded in not just bolted in.

AUTHORITY
R. S. 47:507
DEFINITION
This provides for the placement of permanent registration license plates.
PROCEDURES
The permanent registration license plates assigned to a trailer, semi trailer, motorcycle, automobile, pickup truck, van, or other motor vehicle shall be attached to the rear of the vehicle.
The permanent registration license plate assigned to any truck having a gross vehicle weight in excess of six thousand pounds or to any dump truck may be attached to EITHER the front or the rear of the vehicle.
All permanent registration license plates shall at all times be securely fastened to the vehicle so as to prevent the plate from swinging and at a height of not less than twelve inches from the ground, measuring from the bottom of the plate. The license plate shall be secured in a place and position so as to be clearly visible and shall be maintained free of foreign materials and in such a condition as to be clearly legible.
If the license plate becomes damaged or worn to the extent that the identification numbers and letters on the plate are no longer legible, the owner shall contact the Office of Motor Vehicles to secure a replacement license plate upon payment of the appropriate fees.

Louisiana: LA 55:III.§ 813. Required Equipment,

1. Bumpers removed from vehicles originally equipped with bumpers will not be permitted. However, rear bumpers are not required on pickup trucks.
2. Rebuilt or modified bumpers must be made of material equivalent to the original bumpers and must be equal in strength.

No problem. I got messed with a time or two in the mazda for no bumper, so i kinda remembered how to find it.
Anyone know how hard it is to rebuild a power steering pump?
