well, they dont make a crystal clear light for my truck so the lens has ridges in it to focus the pattern.
heres an example with the blazer composites since they actually make those in crystal clear.

ive seen it cleared with the ridges, i think its kinda meh, and im the one who used to hate projectors, now IMO the are the way to roll
