Loves it. No leaks, instal was sorta a pain, but it wasnt too bad. The only gripe he has was the buttons were breakin off of the top. We called up the company and they sent us out a button repair kit for it.

ok will do
here is my 1952 Chevrolet 3/4 ton 5 window project

Its got a 1954 235ci inline 6 (125hp and 205ftlb torque) and a 3 speed manual trans. I bought it about 6 months ago for $900. It was another guys restoration project that he had to get rid of, my boss bought it for parts and only swapped doors with his 52 project truck. It was sitting in my bosses barn for 10 years and doesn't have a spot of rust. Just about every part to complete it and then some was stored around his barn, i made back most of what i paid for it buy selling the spare parts that came with it.
The engine, trans and rear end (rear out of a chevy nova) were rebuilt, body fixed of rust and rot and suspension/brakes completely replaced/rebuilt before the previous owner had to sell it. It has true dual exhaust (an after market goodie). Im currently working on the wiring and I should be able to start it and drive it around my yard as soon as this damn winter is over, currently it is under a tarp for the winter. So there will be more pics to come, especially when i get all the fenders, the hood and the grille painted and on the truck.
Im going for more of a resto-mod. Its getting modern lugeries and safety features, like power windows, power brakes, modern wiring setup, rear mounted fuel tank (tank use to be in the cab, behind the seat), power bucket seats, modern gauges, door poppers, new lights, smoothed and shaved body, and a bunch more. When i can afford it, it will get a v8 and independent front suspension and power steering.

i know i just couldn't pass it up, heck if for some reason i can't finish it and have to get rid of it, i could make a nice profit just by parting it out. Since the engine is freshly rebuilt i could get probably around $500-600 for it, since the cab is in such great shape and everything lines up perfectly, i should be able to get $1k or more for it no problem. And then theres the rest of the body panels like the fenders and hood and doors. Fenders go for about $450 new, doors are somewhere around $700 and i don't even know if they sell new hoods, at least i haven't seen any. Bed parts are expensive as well.
Im glad everything major is there for this truck (mainly body parts) because if alot was missing, i wouldn't have bought it.
man i can't wait for spring, all this talking about the truck makes me eager to get out and work on it.
