This thread is for videos/sound clips involving the different exhaust builds out there.

Since this site is for many different years and kinds of trucks please list the specs on the truck(year, kind, any modifications, ect).

Most important listing how your exhaust is set up.

First is my 04 Zr5. Intake and TB mod are the only mods really done. Specs on the muffler are at the beginning of the video.

1995 GMC Jimmy:

(bad cat)

Intake, E-fan, Comp Cams 266 AHR cam, 1.6 rockers, underdrive pulleys and probably a few other little things.

The muffler is a Magnaflow muffler(I don't remember the exact one) 2 1/4" to 2.5" dual out.

Well, I had the guy in town put a Magnaflow 18" on my truck, and man, I'm just not happy with the sound. It isn't really loud, at least at idle. I haven't had time to run it yet, but was seriously disappointed when I cranked it up.

I read they take a couple of months to break in. Is that true?

Maybe I need a tip that'll help with the tone. Any ideas?

It's a 5.7, 96 Z71. Thanks.

Magnaflows are not known for being "loud", but for the nice tone between all power bands, even idle. I loved the set up I had on the jimmy.

They don't "break in."

How big are your pipes? How are you running it after the muffler?
